QHEC
A QHEC is a free* home energy analysis for New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) customers. During this walk-through assessment, one of our certified auditors will identify ways to help reduce your home's energy costs by up to 20%† and install complimentary energy-saving products to help you get started.
During our visit, we'll evaluate your:
HVAC and water heating equipment
Insulation and ductwork in your attic and/or basement
Lighting fixtures and bulbs
QHEC+
For only $49*, get all the benefits of our base QHEC plus a blower door test that will uncover hidden areas where heated or cooled air is escaping from your home. Plus, when you purchase a smart thermostat from the NJNG Marketplace, we'll install it for free** during your QHEC+. Following your QHEC+, you'll receive a detailed report that includes outlined recommendations and resources to help you proceed; and you can obtain competitive bids from independent contractors.
